Luke is a spoil young prince lives in a kingdom, he believes that the only people that matter are the noble family and the citizenry is only the supporting factors in the universal realm. So the only values and attentions are only owned by the noble family, they deserve to be happy, to fulfill their necessary and needs, to exploit and use the natural resources or humans’ services as they wish. Basically they believe that the world is spinning around them as they are the center of the world. Luke is the worst among the other snobby noble family members, but as the time goes by Luke becomes the king of the kingdom. He rules the kingdom in a cruel, selfish and dictator way that drives him into the hatred of his own people which eventually conduct a revolution to take down the authority and finally hand down the kingdom and the throne.
Luke was ruined by his own belief that only particular side deserves to have values and be the center of attention which triggered the raging anger of the people who had ran out of patience. Luke is a state with anthropocentrism concept who belives that human beings are center of the universe and the only ones who have values so that all the things which are being conducted related to the other elements on the earth is only for the sake of human beings themselves, on the other hand, the citizenry performs as the nature in this analoghy which is being exploited and ruled as what human beings wish.
This analoghy is the reflection of what happens in the international development between states and the nature nowadays, where states focus on exploiting the nature resources without considering that the nature actually has its own so-called rights to keep their existence. Deforestation, over-mining practice, illegal logging etc that drive the earth into a crisis called global warming is the impact of anthropocentrism paradigm. Writer assumes that it will come to the time where the nature will take a stand and fight back if "Luke" doesn't change the way he behaves and rules.
